If you don't know what is in the water, don't jump!  Rocks, boulders and even cars can be hidden right below the water's surface and can be extremely dangerous!

    Today our team helped educate 4th and 5th graders at Beacon Hill Elementary about the importance of water safety.  Thanks to donations, we were able to give out a life jacket to one of the students who helped us demonstrate proper life jacket fittings.  Thank you to the staff for taking the time to help us spread the word about water safety!

    Six of our divers have successfully completed the NAPD's Special Response Diver's course put on by Searchlight Dive Services.  This course is designed for dive teams that perform rescue and recovery operations.

  • Cowlitz County Dive Rescue Team mans float in Longview parade

    Braving the cold, the Cowlitz County Dive Rescue Team put together a float to help promote the usage of life preservers in the local waters.
     
    Life jackets were donated by Bob's Sporting Goods and the team used a boat from Cowlitz County Search and Rescue.
     
    Thank you for all the support for those who showed up, and a big thank you to Bob's for supplying the life jackets!

    Our team finished Underwater Crime Scene Investigation Technician II Training put on by Dive Rescue International.
     
    With donations from our community, the Cowlitz County Sheriff's office, County Coroner's office, Carl's Towing, Burgerville, and the Rizad Foundation we were able to host this valuable training. Thank you to all of our supporters! More can be read at the Daily News.
